A STRONG wind uprooted several trees yesterday in the northern Cebu towns of Catmon and Sogod, and two of those trunks pinned down two houses.But only minor damage to property was reported and there were no casualties since typhoon Quinta approached Cebu on Christmas Day, bringing wind and rain with it.Eleven families in seven barangays were displaced, according to initial reports that reached the Cebu Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC).At least 21 vessels in the Visayas were kept at port, while Cebu remained under storm signal number two yesterday morning. ...
