YouTube hosted its first music awards on November 1, Sunday. While controversial rapper, Eminen, won Artist of the Year, South Korean pop group, Girls' Generation, won YTMA Video of the Year, according to Kotaku, PopDust, and the Sanctuary Tumblr. With over 74 million views and more than 400,000 likes, their music video, "I Got a Boy", beat the offerings of international artists such as Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, One Direction, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and Miley Cyrus. "The question is why is girls generation in America if they cant speak a word of English lolllooololl," said one irate individual from a losing fandom.
