Microsoft will patch this coming week a zero-day vulnerability in its Internet Explorer browser that has been under attack for weeks.Dustin Childs, group manager for Microsoft Trustworthy Computing Response Communications, said the patch will be one of eight that will roll out on Oct. 8 (Oct. 9 in Manila)."The Critical update for Internet Explorer will be a cumulative update which will address the publicly disclosed issue described in Security Advisory 2887505," he said in a blog post.He said the eight patches include four rated critical and four rated important. ...
