Severe Tropical Storm Quedan (Fitow) slowed down as it continued to hover near Batanes, and may extend its stay in the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) until Sunday, state weather forecasters said Thursday.However, they also assured that Quedan is not likely to directly affect any part of the country.PAGASA forecaster Chris Perez said their models show that at its present course and speed, Quedan may exit the Philippine area of responsibility Saturday night or early Sunday."Posibleng Sabado ng gabi o Linggo ng umaga," Perez said in an interview on dzBB radio.In its 11 a.m. ...
