Apple unveils the iPad Air, what's new with it?
Oct 23rd 2013, 01:24, by Calvin

Apple just unveiled their latest iPad products and the one replacing the previous generation iPad is the thinner and lighter iPad Air. So how does it differ from last year's iPad with Retina Display?

iPad Air

Obviously, the main difference would be its weight and sexier body. It now looks more like a big iPad mini with its slim bezels and is now just 7.5mm thin (from 9.4mm). It's also lighter for almost half a pound from the previous generation. Next would have to be the power. It's now equipped with the same 64-bit Apple A7 processor with M7 motion coprocessor as that of the iPhone 5.

Unfortunately, the difference seems to end there. It has the same Retina Display, same 5-megapixel iSight camera, and same 10-hour battery life as that of the previous iPad despite having a smaller battery. But the mere fact that Apple made the iPad thinner, lighter and powerful without sacrificing battery life makes it a compelling reason to finally upgrade your iPad from two years ago.

We'll keep you posted on how much this will retail once it officially hits our shores this year.

Here's a rundown of the specs comparison:
