TS Quedan moves north-northwest, may linger in PAR until Friday Oct 1st 2013, 04:47 Tropical Storm Quedan (Fitow) maintained its strength and slightly veered away from the Philippines before noon Tuesday. However, state weather forecasters said it may linger in the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at least until Friday.PAGASA forecaster Jori Loiz said that Quedan has slightly accelerated and is now moving north-northwest instead of north."Magtatagal siya dito sa PAR nang kaunti," Loiz said in an interview on dzBB radio, but did not elaborate.But Loiz said they detect no other weather disturbance in or near the PAR at this time. ...
