DFA denies China withdrew invite for PHL in trade event Aug 30th 2013, 05:56 A Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) official on Friday clarified that China did not withdraw its invitation to the Philippines to attend a trade expo there next week, although he could not explain why it requested that President Benigno Aquino III not attend the event for the meantime."The invitation was not withdrawn," DFA spokesperson Raul Hernandez told reporters in Malacañang.He explained that the invitation to the 10th ASEAN-China Expo (CAEXPO) to be held in Nanning, China, from Sept. 3 to 6 was for the Philippines to send a "high-level delegation. ...
