Senator wants Lacson as 'special investigator' for 'pork' scam Aug 21st 2013, 07:13 A senator on Wednesday floated the name of former Senator Panfilo Lacson as a likely "special independent investigator" who will look into the alleged irregularities in the use of the pork barrel funds by some senators.At a press briefing, Senate Majority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano said he will ask the Senate blue ribbon committee to designate Lacson, who also served as chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) before his stint in Congress, as the special investigator who will look into the issue."He will conduct ground investigation," Cayetano said of Lacson. ...
