Oriental Mindoro bus accident kills nun Jul 6th 2013, 17:03 A provincial bus that plied the Manila-Mindoro route flipped on its side early Sunday morning in Occidental Mindoro killing one of the passengers - a nun. The driver of the Dimple Star Transport bus allegedly lost control of the bus as it was a rainy night and the road was slippery, according to a report by radio dzBB. The driver is in the custody of the local police. The nun was said to have been killed as she tried to jump out a window just as the bus was tipping over. Unfortunately, instead of jumping to safety, she ended up being crushed under the bus. — DVM, GMA News
