One of the biggest news recently is the arrival of NBA superstar LeBron James in the country and to capitalize on that, WeChat also announced the official LeBron James account in the mobile messaging service.
"Communication is as important off court as it is on court. I'm not always around my friends and family with my tight schedule, so I need new ways to stay in touch with them. WeChat helps me do this," said Lebron.
Each week, LeBron will be uploading photos, videos and text messages on his account so his fans can follow and have a peak into the 4-time MVP's daily life.

WeChat is a popular social mobile communication app from Tencent which is the largest internet company in China. Actually, it's the number one messaging app in China which was officially launched here last May with Iya Villania and Drew Arellano as brand ambassadors.
Early this month, WeChat also tapped football superstar Lionel Messi for a global campaign.
