PDI apologizes for 'offensive' Pugad Baboy strip Jun 6th 2013, 17:22 The Philippine Daily Inquirer on Thursday apologized for the "offensive" strip inked by cartoonist Pol Medina Jr. in his comic "Pugad Baboy" that was published on June 4, noting that the publication of the piece was "due to a mix-up." In a statement sent to GMA News Online by PDI Corporate Affairs head Connie Kalagayan, the Inquirer also clarified that Medina remains a contributor and not fired, contrary to some news reports.
