MMDA mulls use of pumps powered by electricity Jun 17th 2013, 19:44 Manila, Philippines -- The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority is planning to replace the old diesel-powered pumps at its flood pumping stations with new electric-powered pumps as recommended by Dutch consultants from the World Bank, according to MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino.
