Roxas orders mandatory safety checks on BGC buildings with piped-in gas systems Jun 13th 2013, 06:39 Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas II on Thursday ordered mandatory safety checks on buildings in Taguig City's Bonifacio Global City (BGC) area that use piped-in gas systems.He said this is to ensure the safety of tenants using the system in the wake of the May 31 explosion in the Two Serendra condominium tower that was blamed on gas leak. Three people were killed in the incident."Lahat ito [buildings], kailangang ma-check ito. Lahat," Roxas said at a forum on Friday at the Mind Museum attended by representatives of the buildings involved. ...
