Last week we saw Toshiba launched a handful of new laptops. One of which is the P-Series Satellite laptop targeting those who need top-end technology for gaming and entertainment applications.
For a 15-incher, the new Performance Series Satellite laptop is beautiful. It has a thin, sleek form with rounded edges and a brushed-aluminum silver finish inside with chrome accents on the lid. There's also an edge-to-edge Full HD 15.6-inch screen inside.
It has a tiled, frameless backlit LED keyboard with the whole top of it dedicated to a speaker grill powered by Harman Kardon speakers with Slip Stream technology. There's also an enlarged click touchpad for you to play around with. This laptop can also output Ultra HD (UHD) or quad HD picture via HDMI on UHD-supported TVs that has been showing up lately.
There are two variants for the P-Series Toshiba Satellite, the touch-enabled P50t UltraBook, and the full-powered non-touch P50, both having the latest NVIDIA mobile GPUs around so they're no slouch in the graphics department.
The P50 is not touch-screen but is equipped with a full-powered 4th generation (Haswell) Intel Core i7 quad-core processor with NVIDIA GeForce GT745M dedicated graphics. The touch-screen P50t, on the other hand, uses a 3rd Gen Intel Core i7 ultra-low voltage processor with an NVIDIA GeForce GT740M graphics.
Both variants come with 1TB HDD storage and runs on a 64-bit Windows 8 OS. Ports include 2 USB 2.0, and 2 USB 3.0 with 1 being able to charge your devices while asleep.
The Toshiba Satellite P50t starts at Php49,990 while the Satellite P50 goes for Php62,990.
