During the Commission on Elections' Thursday hearing that would determine which political parties would be recognized as the 2013 elections' dominant majority party, the minority party, the major national parties and, the major local parties, Comelec commissioners did not hesitate asking party representatives pointed questions on their applications. Parties are very much interested in being accredited as this will give the right to be given copies of the election returns and certificates of canvass, as well as have their own watchers present in voting precincts and during canvassing. ...
