When I was first asked to wear the Muslim headscarf called a hijab for at least a day, I gladly accepted the offer as I'm the adventurous type and this kind of unique experience was right up my alley. And given that February 1 was World Hijab Day, this little social-experiment was going to provide me with the necessary fodder for a story. True enough, it was an interesting experience. But it was disappointing at the same time.
