Poet-activist and cultural worker Ericson Acosta, who languished in jail for almost two years due to suspicions that he is a member of the rebel New People's Army, was declared a free man by a local court in Calbayog, Samar after the Department of Justice (DOJ) junked his illegal possession of explosives case.
