Senate bill seeks to repeal law vs. acts 'offending religious feelings' Feb 5th 2013, 11:36 Senator Pia Cayetano has filed a bill seeking to repeal a law that punishes acts seen to be offensive to religious feelings — days after a local court found social activist Carlos Celdran guilty for committing such offense. Saying the law may be used to curtail freedom of speech, Cayetano filed Senate Bill No.3402 seeking to repeal Article 133 of the Revised Penal Code. The article punishes "anyone who, in a place devoted to religious worship or during the celebration of any religious ceremony, shall perform acts notoriously offensive to the feelings of the faithful. ...
