Pagadian mayor, wife ask DOJ to dismiss syndicated estafa raps Feb 27th 2013, 12:50 Pagadian City Mayor Samuel Co and his wife has asked the Department of Justice (DOJ) to dismiss the syndicated estafa complaint filed against them in connecton with the P12-billion investment scam allegedly committed by Aman Futures Group Philippines Inc. In their separate counter-affidavits filed Tuesday, the Co couple said they should not be held liable for syndicated estafa because they never deceived investors of the controversial investment firm founded by Manuel Amalilio, who is currently detained in Malaysia. ...
