Want to get your hands on the Windows Phone 8 platform but don’t want to jump yet to those high-end phones? The entry-level Nokia Lumia 620 is a nice fit for those who are looking for a WP8 handset without breaking their budget.
The Nokia Lumia 620 has a 3.8-inch ClearBlack display with a decent 480 x 800 resolution. Aside from the relatively sharp display, you’ll also notice the colorful duotone shells (either gloss or matte finish) you can get it with.
Despite being an entry-level WP8 phone, the Lumia 620 uses a mid-range 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 (Krait) processor to go with 512MB RAM. Internal storage is limited to 8GB but you can definitely slip in a microSD for expansion.
A 5-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash is situated at the back. You can make use of Nokia’s Smart Shot feature to take a series of photos and the phone will take the best bits of each shot for that perfect group photo. You can also record 720p HD videos with this phone. At the front is a VGA camera for those video chats.
The Nokia Lumia 620 is already available for just Php11,600 in selected Nokia stores in different colors: Lime green, orange, magenta, yellow, cyan, white, black.
