S.M.S. VERIFICATION Jan 8th 2013, 08:44 ILOILO CITY, Iloilo (PIA) - The Police Regional Office - 6 (PRO-6) recently launched firearm data and verification via text messaging. PRO-6 Director, Agrimero Cruz, Jr., said the use of SMS or text messaging can hasten the verification of the data of firearms, especially those recovered from the crime scene. The PNP said records of firearms recovered or confiscated in police operations should be verified to serve as basis in the filing of appropriate cases against the suspects. ...
