Plan to evict suspended Cebu gov Garcia 'speculation' — Roxas Jan 9th 2013, 09:16 Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas on Wednesday dismissed as speculation suspended Cebu governor Gwendolyn Garcia's claim that she will be evicted from the provincial capitol building where she has been holed up for weeks. "Bakit kelangan i-bodily [remove her]? Hayaan natin si governor sa kanyang speculation," Roxas said during a press briefing at Camp Crame on Wednesday. Garcia has defied a December 31, 2012 ultimatum issued by Chief Superintendent Marcelo Garbo, head of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 7, for her to vacate the office following her suspension. ...
