ZAMBOANGA CITY (PNA) - The Sea-Based Anti-Trafficking Task Force (SBATTF) has rescued on Thursday 45 victims of human trafficking in this southern port city, a justice official announced. The victims, mostly adult males, were rescued shortly after 7 a.m. Thursday at a private wharf in Barangay Baliwasan, west of this city, according to Sea-Based Anti-Trafficking Task Force (SBATTF) Chairperson Assistant City Prosecutor Darlene Pajarito. The prosecutor said the victims were recruited in Manila, in Zamboanga City, and in the nearby provinces of Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga del Norte.
