If everything goes according to plan, the Senate may finally vote on second and third reading on the controversial reproductive health (RH) bill next week. During Monday's Senate session, Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada suggested that Sen. Ralph Recto be allowed to finish presenting his amendments on the bill on Wednesday. He said Senate Majority Floor Leader Vicente Sotto III can then propose his amendments next Monday, Dec. 17, after which the Senate can vote on the measure on second reading on the same day and on third reading on Thursday during a special session. ...
