World Bank extends $5-M grant for war-torn communities in Mindanao Dec 25th 2012, 22:05 THE World Bank has approved US$5.251 million additional grant for conflict-affected communities in Mindanao.The Washington-based lending agency said that the amount, under the Mindanao Trust Fund (MTF), will be used to assist 65 more villages in 21 conflict-affected affected towns of Mindanao. The funds will be used for livelihood and small-scale infrastructure to help speed up reconstruction and create small businesses and jobs in these war-torn communities. ...
