Members of the Mangudadatu clan on Wednesday told the court hearing the Maguindanao massacre case how Andal Ampatuan Sr., a principal accused in the case and patriarch of a rival political clan, allegedly tried to control the political arena in Maguindanao. Incumbent Buluan Mayor Ibrahim Mangudadatu testified that the Ampatuans went as far as "bribing" local chief executives in Maguindanao in exchange for their loyalty.
