The Bureau of Fire Protection seized several illegal firecrackers from sidewalk vendors following a series of inspections in Manila Wednesday. Many of the sidewalk vendors on Juan Luna Street failed to show permits to sell the fireworks, radio dzBB reported early Thursday. Along Tabora Street, some of the vendors who were flagged by the BFP were found to lack fire extinguishers. Other vendors in the inspections were also found to have failed to remind their customers about the no-testing and no-smoking rules near the fireworks. ...
