As heavy rain fell Wednesday night, residents of New Bataan, Compostela Valley left their homes in panic. The streets were filled with people, who waved desperately at passing vehicles, hoping to be allowed on. Evacuees young and old endured the rain as they walked along the dark highway. Uncertain of where to go, they only wanted to ensure their safety, GMA News' Cedric Castillo reported on Unang Balita on December 6.
