Ship Rescues 17 Foreign Seafarers Dec 24th 2012, 11:01 Seventeen foreign seafarers who abandoned ship on Sunday as the Korean-flagged ''M/V Han Splendor'' sank 165 nautical miles east of Batan Island in Batanes have been rescued by a passing vessel, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported yesterday.
