UPDATE 1-Illegal funding reports insufficiently investigated-Aruze Nov 19th 2012, 23:50 LOS ANGELES, Nov 19 (Reuters) - Aruze USA, the U.S. unit ofJapanese billionaire Kazuo Okada's Universal Entertainment Corp, on Monday said a Nov. 16 Thomson Reuters exclusivereport and other media reports into alleged illegal funding bythe company related to its Philippines operations were not"based on sufficient investigation." The Reuters story said U.S. gaming regulators areinvestigating millions of dollars paid by affiliates ofUniversal to a former consultant of the Philippine gamingauthority around the time the company was lobbying to winconcessions for a $2 billion Manila casino. ...
