THE Provincial Government is planning to sue a former cashier of the province's treasury office for allegedly malversing public funds. The legislative body of Benguet recently gave authority to Governor Nestor Fongwan to represent the province in filing a civil action against Esther Pagano for the collection of alleged malversed public funds amounting to P4,175,219.12.On its civil complaint draft, the Province narrated Pagano was employed as cashier IV at the treasury office from August 1, 1993 to January 16, 1998. ...
