Guv worries over Laguindingan airport opening Nov 5th 2012, 22:02 MISAMIS Oriental Governor Oscar Moreno expressed apprehension over the reported opening of the Laguindingan International Airport in January 2013.Moreno said he has some reservations over the planned "soft opening" of the airport, citing there is no air navigation yet."Mas malipay pa ko nga ma-delay ang opening (I would be happy if the opening will be delayed) rather than to compromise the safety of the public," he said during his weekly radio program.Moreno said he is also concerned on the "transition period" and on how the public will adopt the new system, particularly on traffic. ...
