Business confidence in the Aquino administration remains high and the country continues to receive positive assessments from rating agencies. Among the emerging economies of Southeast Asia, however, the Philippines lags behind Indonesia in positive economic reviews. Standards & Poor's, for example, has placed the Philippines behind Indonesia in credit outlook.
