Infrastructure projects will be on track and will not be affected by the election ban next year, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways. Bidding particularly for roads and bridges will be over by yearend and contracts awarded by January, DPWH officials said, and nearly 3,000 projects will be underway by March. The DPWH hopes to finish several small-scale projects before the start of the rainy season.
