The Google Nexus now comes in a 10-inch form and Google made a good decision choosing Samsung, who we know has a lot of tablet experience on its sleeves, to create this amazing piece of slate.

Google Nexus 10

So what's so special about the Google Nexus 10? Well it boasts of a ridiculous 2560 x 1600 resolution which is far more than your average desktop resolution! That's over 4 million pixels right on a 10-inch screen. At 300ppi (pixels per inch), the Nexus 10 has a far more sharper display than the new iPad and its Retina Display (2048 x 1536, 264 ppi).

Under the hood, the Nexus 10 gets a dual-core 1.7GHz dual-core Exynos 5250 Cortex-15 processor, quad-core Mali T604 GPU and 2GB RAM. Running this show is the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS which offers support for multi-user making this a tablet the whole family can use.

Rounding up the feature list you'll get front stereo speakers, dual NFC, 5-megapixel rear camera which is capable of 1080p video recording, 1.9 megapixel front camera, Bluetooth 4.0, and dual-band WiFi. It's designed as a premium entertainment device so no 3G/4G here, just pure WiFi.

The lithium-polymer battery on the Nexus 10 is rated at 9,000 mAh and Google promises that it can give you 9 hours of video playback. Just an hour short than what the iPad can give.

Lastly, the thing that would attract a lot of potential customers is its price. Available starting November 13th, the 16GB version will go for $399, while the 32GB model will be $499. It will be offered on the Play Store for the following countries: U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan.
