MANILA: Public satisfaction with the performance of Philippine President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino registered a new record high since he took over power in June 2010, a private pollster reported on Friday.
Social Weather Stations (SWS) said its latest survey showed that Aquino garnered a high plus 67 per cent net satisfaction rating which it considered “very good,” or a 25 per cent jump from the low plus 42 per cent he received three months earlier in May.
It added almost eight out of 10 Filipinos or 77 per cent said they were satisfied against only 10 per cent dissatisfied in the survey undertaken from Aug.24 to 27 and which involved 1,200 respondents nationwide.
